Privacy information for Novy — Task & Planner

Page revised · March 20, 2026

Apple’s App Privacy label for Novy states that the developer does not collect data from this app. Novy is built around on-device task storage (Core Data), optional biometric checks for sensitive actions, and standard iOS features such as local notifications—without sign-in, cloud sync, or subscription tiers tied to a server account in the product description.

This page is a plain-language companion for visitors to this site. It does not replace the developer’s own legal privacy policy.

Where do my tasks and notes live?
Content you create in Novy is stored on your iPhone, iPad, or compatible Apple device using Core Data in the app’s sandbox. There is no account requirement and no cloud sync described in the App Store listing—your lists remain local to the device unless you use separate OS features (for example device backups) outside Novy’s control.
What about reminders?
When you schedule reminders, Novy can use iOS local notifications so you are nudged at the time you choose. Scheduling data is part of your on-device task model; it is not described as being uploaded to Novy-operated servers for delivery.
Why does Novy ask for Face ID or Touch ID?
For high-impact actions such as resetting all data, the app may require confirmation through Apple’s Local Authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode). Biometric templates and passcodes are handled by the system; Novy does not receive raw biometric data from Apple.
Does Novy sell analytics or advertising profiles?
The App Store privacy nutrition label currently indicates no data collection from the app. If Apple or the publisher updates that disclosure, you should rely on the latest label and the official policy linked below.
Is Novy appropriate for children?
The app is rated 4+. It is a general productivity tool; caregivers should manage device permissions and backups as they would for any app that stores personal plans on-device.
GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws
Because data is processed primarily on your device, many requests may be satisfied by deleting tasks inside the app, using Novy’s reset flow where applicable, or removing the app from your device. For formal privacy requests, use the channels published in the developer’s official policy.
